Educational Specialist
Roberta "Bobbie" Havens has devoted over thirty years to serving students, parents, and teachers in education. She received a B.A. in Psychology and English from the University of San Francisco and a Master's in Education from St. Mary’s College of Moraga. Additionally, Bobbie holds a multiple-subject teaching credential and an Administrative Credential. She is also certified as an Educational Therapist and ADHD/Executive Function Parent/Student Coach. Bobbie conducts workshops for parents and teachers on ADHD and Executive Function for schools, and parent workshops for the County of San Mateo Children and Family Services. As an educational specialist, Bobbie offers valuable insights and experience in implementing accommodations and supporting students in schools. With her diverse background, she has been involved in IEP meetings from all perspectives - as a principal, classroom teacher, learning specialist, and parent of students with an IEP/504. At Morrissey Compton, she provides personalized educational therapy, executive function coaching to students, as well as parent ADHD/executive function coaching and academic assessments.
